I grew up in upstate New York. Throughout childhood and college, I was always involved in competitive sports. I found out at an early age that massage and bodywork could give me a competitive advantage in sports. It also helped me recuperate from many injuries over the years. I always enjoyed the work, but did not pursue this career until 2003. I chose to go to school to get certified as a massage therapist at The Therapeutic Massage Training Institute (TMTI) here in Charlotte. I saw what massage and bodywork could do for me. I wanted to help others by sharing my talent.
Therapeutic Massage is my passion! I thoroughly enjoy helping my clients overcome their individual challenges, pain, and discomfort. I find joy in the challenge each client brings with his or her different needs and desired results from massage. The open communication environment I create with my clients allows me to listen, understand, and respond the clients needs. This is where I thrive!
Through the years, I have participated in a range of education, work experiences, and charitable events to become a well-rounded massage therapist. Each of these opportunities has come with their own unique experiences and learning’s. I decided in 2008 that it was time for me to open my own practice. This allows me to share my philosophy and experiences with my growing clientele.
